The TBC Staff is growing, and they work tirelessly behind the scenes to provide the best possible effort for the overall operation to run TBC smoothly.
Many times you may not see these people doing their labor of love, and we cannot forget to thank them for all the hard labor that they do for TBC!
Each individual is an important link in the chain that makes up TBC. We still have many positions not filled, and other positions coming up to be filled,
so keep watching our web site for TBC to grow, and you too can be a part of animal rescue in your County!
“I have been a part of TBC for four years. The mission on TBC was a large draw for me to volunteer. I have worked with animals my whole life.
I managed a boarding kennel and stable for thirteen years. I also managed a shelter. TBC’s love of saving one animal at a time is a mission I will always be a part of!”
When TBC is finally able to open a facility it will be Cathy you see first, as she will be running the TBC kennel operation.
“I have been with TBC for four plus years, and have a deep passion for the animals; their safety and well being are the most important thing to
me!” Kim’s background in Security earned her this position, and she covers every area of security for TBC during all our fundraisers and events.
When TBC is able to open a facility it will be Kim’s job to make sure that our fur-babies, volunteers, and customers are safe and secure.
“I have been involved with TBC for more than four years now. For two of the four, I was Secretary of the Board for TBC, and now I volunteer for TBC. I work as a full time Medical Assistant, but love to dedicate my spare time helping TBC save, and help animals.” Kim’s natural talent for photography has been a valuable asset to TBC functions and events, helping to collect keepsakes and memories from the very beginning of our journey. So, when you attend a TBC event, Be sure to SMILE for her!
Pastor Chris is a vital part of our TBC Staff, in that he is here for us when we need Spiritual comfort for our loss, in times when we lose one of our fur-babies, but also when we go through loss of our human family and friends.
Having a Chaplin on staff in an animal rescue is something you may not easily find in other rescue programs, and is a unique offering by TBC to those who need him. He has officiated at several TBC functions, such as our first Memorial for Founding Vice President Char Newton, and our first Volunteer Coordinator, Laura Novillo. He has been there with us for the first Volunteer Appreciation dinner, and continues be available when members of our volunteer force have had troubles in their lives. TBC does NOT expect Board Members, Staff, or Volunteers to adhere to any certain doctrine to join TBC. But rather, we offer the comfort and consult available by having Pastor Chris as our Spiritual guide in those times of need.
Pastor Chris is a local Minister in the Fayette County area of Pennsylvania, and also runs a small construction business. It took TBC a long time to find the right Man of God who believes in the same philosophy that ALL animals when they pass away, go to Heaven, or what is often referred to as the “Rainbow Bridge”.
Pastor Chris reminded us all at our appreciation dinner of how much God loves animals, that when God created the flood in Noah’s day. He noticed something... He asked us, “How many people were on the ark? Answer: 8. “But how many animals were on the ark?...? Does God love the animals? Answer: Yes!
“I had the privilege of knowing Teddy, and caring for him when he was critically ill. I know the love that Donna had for him, and the love that she feels for the homeless fur-babies. TBC not only cares for the animals but for every member of this organization that we call family. It’s an honor to be a family member of TBC! Staff and Volunteers spend hours tirelessly working to rescue any animal within their power.” Beth handles the TBC day to day operation of TBC’s funds, and works close with the Treasurer and Founder.
This is NOT Teddy Roberts, but another “Teddy” who began working with TBC in 2016. “Teddy” works with the board and staff researching and writing grants for special projects. “Teddy” also works on behalf of TBC in the local community to promote the mission and work of TBC through advice and consults for funding. “Teddy” is a “Pseudo” for TBC’s Grant Writer who does actively support the cause and is a person who also works very closely with President of TBC to obtain funds for the growing need of a facility to house the homeless animals in our communities. This person’s identity will be veiled through “Teddy” due to request. The Board and Staff of TBC cannot think of a better Grant Writer for TBC!
" I have grown up loving and trying to take care of animals. I love all animals and love to work with them to help take care of them. I grew up knowing Teddy and miss having him here with the family. I plan on becoming a vet tech in the near future and look forward to working more with TBC." Steven is TBC's late Founding Vice President (Char Newton), grandson; and he has had a love of TBC since the very beginning of the organization in 2013. When TBC has a facility Steven will be one of the men who will be taking care of the animals during the night time, and helping to keep them safe. We look forward to having him with us on Staff and the LOVE TEAM.
